Acting in commercials, television and film are all distinct areas with differing needs built upon certain basics. Ashley Camille can provide you with the basics and, from there, you can start gaining experience and honing your craft to make the most of your potential.

 

• Film and Episodic Television- Actors and actresses in feature films and television programs must be able to evoke an emotional response from the audience. This is a skill, and like any other skill, it can be learned and developed.
• Commercials- While the characters in commercials should still be able to evoke an emotional response, the main goal is to sell something to the viewer. A trustworthy smile and convincing mannerisms should seal the deal!
• Character Actors- The character actor, who may or may not have conventionally good looks, specializes in playing eccentric or unusual people rather than leading roles in films, television programs or advertisements.
